Is it me, or is the calendar on a rip this year? As the Labor Day weekend comes to a close and we all stare down the remainder of the year, it sure seems like 2010 has been a sneaky, fast one. As the saying goes - time flies when you're having fun.

You may have heard the adage before that it is always good to sample your own cooking or as the title suggests - eat your own dog food. What those phrases mean to say is that you can and should always stand behind whatever product you output - be it a pot of spaghetti or linear live video encoders.
