Inlet

What a year (and it's only August)
This has been quite a year for Inlet Technologies. We've had numerous significant customer wins all over the globe (and as the marketing director I wish I could talk about all of them), we've seen tremendous adoption of adaptive bitrate streaming (a technology we embraced early on) and we continue to reap the rewards of strong ecosystem partners like Apple, Microsoft and Akamai.
CEO Blog: Way Beyond Three Screens
I really enjoyed reading this recent column in Advertising Age about how the world has gone beyond three screens (TV, PC, mobile) to six.

The online video world has changed so fast over the past few years that it seems like a blur.
Behind the Scenes at MLB
I just read this great Harvard Business Review overview of Major League Baseball’s online streaming services, and I’m proud to remind you that Inlet is still behind the scenes at MLBAM, providing their critical media-prep infrastructure for both live and on-demand online video and audio.

From the CEO: A Significant Award for Inlet
Last Thursday was a proud day for Inlet Technologies, as we were selected as a Red Herring 100 North America winner for 2010. Red Herring is a media company that covers innovation, technology, financing and entrepreneurial activity, and every year they recognize the 100 privately held young companies in North America that they believe are the most promising.
Get the story straight
Information is power.  You've heard the adage before.  But bad information is just as powerful, and often times, has more impact than the truth.  But to use another adage - the truth will set you free.
Inlet Powers Major League Baseball Advance Media’s Live Streaming and VoD Infrastructure
Inlet Technologies is proud to embark on our third year of powering MLBAM’s live streaming and video on demand infrastructure with our Spinnaker and Armada solutions.
Live from the Press Briefing Room...
In this constantly evolving, digitally connected world we live in, even The White House is getting into the streaming game. To be clear, they have been for a while - I've just failed to blog about it until now.

More is more/better/what they want/good/so on...
Greetings from San Francisco and NewTeeVee Live 2009. It has been a day filled with great announcements and honors. First - I was asked to speak at the show and represent Inlet as one of NewTeeVee's "Next Big Thing," a list of companies identified as market movers.

Built for speed, scale and sizzle
From Raleigh to Vancouver. Wow - what a trip. I'm not talking about a plane flight here, although North Carolina skiiers would probably embrace such a thing. Not thinking about a car trip either. I'm talking about Inlet Technologies powering the XXI Olympic Winter Games. Today we were able to announce something Inlet has been working on for the better part of the last year. And what an amazing adventure it has been.

Flash forward
As the title of this blog post suggests - our friends at Adobe have joined ABC with some buzz-worthy announcements.  In ABC's case, the subjuect is a catchy new show.  In Adobe's case, they made a flurry of announcements at Adobe MAX yesterday in Los Angeles.
