Automation

Unattended encoding is done with ease using Fathom’s watch folder feature (read more on the Encoding Tips page). Simply specify your watch folder location and assign job templates to the watch folder. Fathom will monitor the watch folder for any new media asset and initiate jobs based on your templates whenever new media is found. Using the Queue function you can also reprioritize jobs without removing them from the Queue.

Seen by Scene™ segment re-encoding

Don’t waste time re-encoding entire clips. Use Seen by Scene to select individual segments of an encoded file, then re-encode just the selected segments, not the entire clip.

Regulatory compliance and changing standards
