Semaphore gives you many tools to zero in on encoding flaws. In addition to the automated alerts, easy-to-read graphs provide comprehensive encoding metrics on a standard media timeline. This frame-accurate timeline includes time code values to facilitate frame scrubbing and precise adjustments.

Watch Folder

Semaphore “watches” for source files within a central directory (Watch Folder) and moves them automatically through QC. You can designate Watch Folder settings to analyze all files according to your criteria, and then generate reports via email. This feature accommodates files originating from multiple locations or personnel, for greater processing automation.

Enhanced Report Generation

Semaphore generates comprehensive, easy-to-read reports that detail encoding statistics and alert information in a variety of formats – text, XML or HTML. You can configure Semaphore’s user-friendly interface to automatically email these reports to your designated recipient list.

Batch Processing and Reporting

Semaphore gives you a command line option for scripting and batch file processing. Use the Batch Report feature to analyze multiple files and generate the corresponding reports, so you can easily process batches of media without real-time monitoring.
