Founder & CEO
Biography
Neal has over 20 years experience in business management and product development specializing in advanced technologies for video, imaging, and computer graphics. He is a recognized leader in the streaming media industry, and founded Osprey Technologies in 1994 (now a division of ViewCast Corporation). Neal led Osprey to a majority market position by securing strategic industry partnerships, winning OEM business, and delivering world-class products to establish the Osprey brand as the industry's "de facto standard." RealNetworks launched RealVideo® in 1997 with Osprey products. Previously, he held management positions at Sun Microsystems where Neal led an elite Advanced Products Group to quickly deliver advanced media technology to market. Prior to that, he held senior engineering positions at Sun Microsystems, General Electric and Data General. Neal holds BS and MS degrees in electrical and computer engineering from North Carolina State University, and has completed executive programs at the University of North Carolina's Kenan-Flagler Business School. He presently serves on the board of directors of Hauppauge Digital, Inc (NASDAQ: HAUP).
Neil Selvin
President
Biography
A pioneer in the information age, Neil has over 25 years of extensive marketing and CEO experience. Prior to joining Inlet, Neil served as the Executive Vice President of Products and Marketing for Approva in Northern Virginia. Neil previously spent 25 years in Silicon Valley, where he was President and CEO of several high-technology companies, including Pivia, OneWorld Systems and Global Village Communication. At Global Village, Neil led the company’s explosive growth, including a successful IPO in 1994. Neil was previously the Director of Marketing for portable computing at Apple Computer, Inc., where he led the original launch of Apple's award winning PowerBook notebook computers. Neil holds BA and MS degrees in physics from Pomona College and Brown University, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Neil also volunteers as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Maryland.
Scott Labrozzi
Chief Technology Officer
Biography
Scott is a widely recognized expert in the streaming media industry with over a decade of experience in leading technology and product development involving video technologies. As the former Vice President of Engineering at Osprey Technologies, Scott led the research and development for all software and hardware products that achieved wide industry recognition known for world-class quality, reliability and performance. Previously, Scott worked for Sun Microsystems developing advanced video processing software. He graduated summa cum laude with an M.S. degree in computer engineering from North Carolina State University.
John Bishop
Senior Vice President of Business Development & Strategy
Biography
John is recognized as a digital video industry expert. He has been featured as a speaker and expert panelist at numerous worldwide events including DV Expo, Digital Hollywood, National Association of Broadcasters annual conference (NAB), Parks Associates, VON, Streaming Media East/West/Europe tradeshows and RealNetworks Conferences. Prior to joining Inlet, John served as the Director of Business Development and Product Management for Osprey Technologies (acquired by ViewCast Corporation). There, he identified and developed key market opportunities resulting in multiple consecutive revenue growth quarters, despite global economic downturn. His other accomplishments at Osprey include: generating sales tools and collateral that reduced overall costs of sales by $1M over 3 years, developing and managing strategic business relationships with Microsoft, RealNetworks and HP, and successfully launching e-commerce initiatives, netting an overall increase of 800% in direct sales. He has authored white papers, web content, press releases and industry presentations, affirming industry leadership position in technology, partnerships, overall ecosystem and people. Prior to Osprey, John spent three years at IBM where he served as a product engineer with IBM's Aptiva PC Division. He currently serves on the board of directors at Accordent Technologies, based in Hermosa Beach California, and holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
Peter Cresse
Executive Vice President of Sales
Biography
Peter brings over twenty years of sales and marketing experience to the Inlet team, with a career that includes executive roles for Fortune 500 firms such as Scientific Atlanta, Intelsat, GTE and GE. His experience spans a broad range of technologies, and he is recognized within the industry as an IPTV expert. Peter also brings significant international business experience to Inlet. He has established offices in Tokyo, Frankfurt and London and has traveled extensively in sales leadership positions. Most recently Peter served as president of Entropy Inc., a consultancy firm providing strategy and sales direction for the transition to new media. Prior to Entropy, he was vice president of worldwide sales, in Scientific Atlanta’s Media Networks division.
Todd Ackman
Vice President of Finance
Biography
Todd has 23 years of professional accounting experience in public and private sectors. His experience spans information technology, clinical research, and manufacturing disciplines He has extensive knowledge of managing multi-entity accounting systems, operations, financial analysis, capital improvement planning, investor relations and human resources. Before joining Inlet, Todd held management positions as Director of Finance for Quintiles and Senior Accounting Analyst at PBS&J. Todd has auditing experience with international CPA firms and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Florida. Todd holds a BS degree in Accounting from Bradley University.
Randy Budzinski
Vice President of Manufacturing and Operations
Biography
Randy brings more than 15 years of manufacturing, procurement and operations experience to Inlet Technologies ranging from start-up to large company. Most recently he led the operations team at North Carolina-based telecommunications start-up Hatteras Networks. There Randy was responsible for setting up the internal manufacturing processes, developing and managing the supply chain, and the new product introduction of the Hatteras products. Prior to Hatteras, at Osprey Technologies he was responsible for product cost reductions and the launch to volume manufacturing several new products. Previously, Randy held management positions with General Electric and NetEdge Systems. He is widely recognized and respected throughout the electronics industry. Randy holds BS and MS degrees in electrical engineering from Syracuse University.
